What is Solar Thermal Hot Water Heating?

Solar water heating uses solar panels fitted to the roof.  The heat collected is used to heat water which is stored in a hot water cylinder.  A boiler or immersion heater can be used as a back-up in the colder months when there is not as much sunlight.

• Low maintenance costs
• Can cut your fuel bills  - the saving generated will depend on the size of the installation and the amount of sunlight.
